Job summary

Bank of China Limited Singapore Branch seeks an experienced leader to oversee branch operations, risk control, and personnel management, ensuring smooth processing and strong client service in Consumer Banking.

You will set departmental objectives aligned with strategy, uphold regulatory compliance, mentor wealth-management advisors, and manage mortgage relationships while communicating in English and Chinese with clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above from a recognized university.
• Professional certifications: M1B, M5, M6, M6A, M8, M8A, M9, M9A and HI.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Consumer Banking, including leadership and people management roles.
• Strong analytical, communication, coordination, and risk-control skills.
• Fluency in English and Chinese to support Chinese-speaking customers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the branch’s overall operations, including business management, risk control, transaction processing, and personnel administration.
• Develop and implement departmental objectives aligned with the bank’s strategic goals, while optimizing workflows and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Maintain effective communication with business units, providing comprehensive support to ensure smooth execution of operations.
• Advise business lines on organizational and human resources issues impacting management efficiency.
• Strive to achieve wealth management sales targets while fostering a service-oriented customer experience.
• Ensure all sales activities adhere to branch policies and regulatory requirements.
• Strengthen staff training programs to improve competencies and sales capabilities of wealth management advisors.
• Manage new residential mortgage loan applications and relationship management for existing mortgage clients.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, address complaints, and escalate complex issues to senior management.
