Job summary

Standard Chartered Bank is seeking an experienced Development Manager to lead end-to-end software initiatives in our Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) Centre of Excellence. You will oversee multiple squads, shaping tokenization, smart contracts, and enterprise integrations while partnering with business, risk, and technology leaders.

The role emphasizes AI-native development, governance, and secure design patterns across blockchain environments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on with permissioned blockchain frameworks (Quorum, Hyperledger Besu/Fabric, Corda).
• Understanding of DLT use cases and tokenization models.
• Experience introducing AI-assisted engineering and software automation.
• Strong backend and API design skills in Python, Go or JavaScript.

Responsibilities

• Lead software initiatives in the DLT Centre of Excellence and drive delivery across squads.
• Partner with business, technology heads, risk and governance to execute programs.
• Evolve engineering toward AI-native development with proper controls.
• Ensure secure, scalable, and compliant blockchain solutions across platforms.
