AbbVie Singapore is launching the Attach & Train Programme for Biotechnologist Trainees. This 15-month, structured on-the-job training runs within our Biologics Manufacturing team to build hands-on skills in cell-based medicines under strict quality and compliance standards.

Selected candidates will work alongside experienced professionals on upstream/downstream processes, gain exposure to cGMP, and develop documentation, troubleshooting and continuous improvement capabilities in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering or equivalent. Fresh graduates are welcome.
• Knowledge of cGMP and regulatory requirements related to manufacturing is an advantage.
• Exposure to SAP, LIMS or MES through internships, projects or prior experience would be an advantage.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Highly motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support cGMP manufacturing operations for biologics drug substance, working in accordance with required quality and safety standards, production schedules and plans.
• Depending on your assigned area, you may support upstream or downstream or central services activities.
• Execute assigned manufacturing operations, including equipment cleaning, set-up and stream-specific activities.
• Complete and review batch documentation for accuracy and completeness, and resolve documentation errors promptly.
• Support shift operations and troubleshooting, and report anomalous processing events to the Lead Biotechnologist or Manufacturing Supervisor.
• Maintain inventory, required training and overall plant readiness to support operations.
• Identify improvement opportunities and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.
