Job summary

RemotePeople is seeking a results-oriented Business Development professional to drive client acquisition in Singapore and the wider SEA region. You will promote BIM and MEP deepening design services, engage owners and contractors, and manage end-to-end deal cycles from proposal to closing.

The role requires 5+ years in engineering or BIM-related sales, a strong network in data center/MEP sectors, and demonstrated ability to negotiate complex projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in marketing, engineering management, architecture, or related fields.
• 5+ years in sales or business development within engineering construction, data centers, BIM, or related industries.
• Established network in Singapore/SEA data center and engineering markets is highly preferred.
• Ability to explain MEP and BIM services and value propositions to clients.

Responsibilities

• Drive market development and client acquisition across Singapore and SEA.
• Engage owners, developers, design institutes, contractors, and suppliers along the value chain.
• Promote BIM deepening design, MEP coordination, and related engineering services.
• Lead proposals, quotations, negotiations, and deal closing for project births.
• Maintain local clients and partner channels; identify repeat business and referrals.
• Monitor tender activity and client needs to inform internal decisions.
• Coordinate with internal teams to deliver pre-sales support and project solutions.
• Support local partner ecosystem development aligned with overseas plans.
