Job summary

LeapThought Asia is seeking a motivated BIM Specialist/Manager to lead the implementation and management of BIM processes across projects in Singapore. You will drive BIM strategy, ensure model quality, and support project delivery through advanced workflows and tools.

You will coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors, developing standards, conducting training, and mentoring BIM coordinators while staying aligned with ISO 19650 and local building codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil/Structural Engineering, Building Services, Construction Management, or related field.
• Proven BIM management/coordination experience on design/construction projects.
• Familiarity with regulatory BIM requirements and building codes is preferred.
• Certifications such as Autodesk Certified Professional or ISO 19650 are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain BIM standards, templates, and workflows across projects.
• Lead BIM model development and coordination across disciplines including architectural, structural, and MEP.
• Manage the Common Data Environment (CDE) and ensure proper version control.
• Oversee QA/QC of BIM models for accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate with project managers, design teams, and clients to define BIM deliverables and milestones.
• Provide training and mentorship to BIM coordinators and team members.
• Evaluate BIM software/tools and support bid/tender documentation.
