Job summary

Nippon Sanso Singapore Ltd. is seeking a BIM/D drafter/coordinator to create and maintain 2D and 3D drawings using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD, derived from architectural and structural requirements.

You will support multidisciplinary model coordination and ensure accuracy per BEP and local codes.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Civil/Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, Higher NITEC in Architectural Technology, or a related technical field.
• Strong Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), or BIMcollab.
• Ability to read technical and structural drawings, understand construction workflows, and apply local building regulations.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational ability and proactive communication.
• Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
• Experience in construction and/or engineering industry would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Model Creation & Upkeep: Develop and maintain 2D and 3D drawings using software such as Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD based on architectural and structural requirements.
• Drawing Production: Prepare and update preliminary, construction, shop, and as-built drawing sets directly from the BIM model.
• Clash Coordination: Support multi-disciplinary model coordination (architectural, structural, and MEP) and assist in identifying and resolving clashes.
• Quality and Delivery: Ensure model accuracy and compliance with the project’s BIM Execution Plan (BEP), file naming conventions, and local building code standards.
• Storage & Archiving: Maintain digital filing systems, run regular backups, and enforce data security and access controls.
• Team Communication: Coordinate closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to adjust designs and answer RFIs.
• Adhere to established quality, environmental protection, health and safety policies and procedures.
• Authorized to stop work and report any unsafe acts or conditions and ensure compliance with all applicable Health & Safety regulations and procedures.
