Job summary

HPX Consulting Engineers in Singapore seeks a Lead BIM Specialist to drive BIM implementation and provide expert M&E design across multiple projects. You will collaborate with project teams to ensure design quality and adherence to standards.

You will mentor junior designers, coordinate with clients and contractors, and stay ahead of industry trends to improve workflows and deliverables.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of BIM management experience.
• Proficient in BIM software (Revit, ArchiCAD) and related tools.

Job Summary

Lead BIM implementation and provide expert M&E design services to deliver high-quality engineering solutions. Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders while mentoring junior designers to advance BIM and M&E capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage BIM processes and technologies across all projects to ensure consistent application and efficiency
• Develop BIM execution plans and standards in collaboration with project teams to align with project goals and industry best practices
• Oversee the creation and coordination of BIM models, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements
• Deliver expert mechanical and electrical engineering design services, including system design, technical analysis, and comprehensive documentation
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure design solutions meet quality, regulatory, and project expectations
• Mentor and train junior designers to enhance their BIM and M&E technical skills and project contributions
• Monitor and integrate the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements into project workflows and designs

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing BIM and performing M&E design in engineering consulting
• Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, ArchiCAD, or equivalent
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems design, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and codes of practice
