Job summary

BUSINESS EDGE PERSONNEL SERVICES PTE LTD is seeking an experienced BIM Lead / BIM Coordinator to drive BIM coordination for major industrial and process utility projects in Singapore. You will own BIM modelling, CAD activities, and multidisciplinary coordination with engineers, project teams, contractors and clients.

The role focuses on developing BIM models, drawings and technical documentation, coordinating piping layouts and process utilities, and ensuring deliverables meet project standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in BIM coordination for industrial/process projects.
• Ability to translate engineering designs into BIM models and drawings.
• Strong understanding of BIM standards, templates, and QA/QC.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate BIM modelling across engineering teams.
• Develop and maintain BIM models, drawings and docs.
• Coordinate piping, equipment layouts and process utilities.
• Identify clashes and resolve coordination issues.
• Ensure compliance with project specs and standards.
• Support BIM Execution Plan implementation.
• Provide guidance to BIM modelers and CAD designers.
• Collaborate with PMs, engineers, contractors and clients.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced BIM Lead / BIM Coordinator to support major industrial and process utility projects involving piping, equipment and utility systems. This is an opportunity for an experienced BIM professional to take ownership of BIM coordination, model development, technical drawings and multidisciplinary coordination , working closely with engineers, project teams, contractors and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate BIM modelling and CAD activities across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Develop and maintain BIM models, drawings and technical documentation for industrial projects.
• Coordinate piping, equipment layouts and process utility systems .
• Review BIM models and drawings to identify clashes, design conflicts and coordination issues .
• Manage BIM/CAD standards, templates, workflows and quality control.
• Translate engineering designs into accurate BIM models and construction drawings .
• Prepare drawings, schematics, BIM models and as-built documentation .
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Contractors and Clients to meet project requirements and milestones.
• Manage BIM data and support implementation of BIM Execution Plans .
• Provide guidance and technical support to BIM Modelers and CAD Designers .
• Ensure BIM deliverables comply with project specifications and technical standards.
