Job summary

Singtel is seeking a Commercial Executive to support customer billing operations, commercial reporting and contractual compliance, ensuring accurate billing and timely reporting for a seamless customer experience.

You will collaborate with Account Teams, Commercial Teams, IT and other stakeholders to resolve billing issues, enhance reporting capabilities and drive process improvements through automation and analytics.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with good attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of billing systems and reporting tools.
• Experience in billing operations, reporting, reconciliation or commercial support is an advantage.
• Good problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve billing-related issues.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain and update billing records with accurate monthly billing information.
• Generate, validate and analyse customer billing reports to support invoicing and reporting requirements.
• Perform billing reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to ensure billing accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with contractual billing obligations, reporting commitments and service-level requirements.
• Gather customer reporting requirements and translate them into clear report specifications.
• Develop and customise billing reports to meet customer-specific requirements.
• Work with IT teams to enhance and maintain reporting capabilities.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Support Account and Commercial Teams in managing billing artefacts, contractual obligations and reporting deliverables.
• Investigate and resolve billing queries raised by customers and internal stakeholders, including intercompany billing matters.
• Support Optus-Singtel intercompany billing reconciliations and coordinating issue resolution with relevant stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot customer order processing and billing issues while developing a strong understanding of downstream operational processes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across billing, reporting and commercial support activities.
• Leverage automation tools, data analytics and AI technologies to improve productivity, accuracy and reporting efficiency.
• Participate in digital transformation initiatives and promoting knowledge sharing and best practices across the team.
