Job summary

GENERAL RAIL TECHNOLOGY PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a full-time Project Engineer to oversee and coordinate engineering projects in Singapore. The role involves scheduling, supervising multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with technical requirements.

You will liaise with clients for site surveys and data gathering, participate in meetings, and manage resource planning. The ideal candidate has a degree in engineering/architecture/building science, at least 2 years in construction, and

Qualifications

Fluency in Chinese and English is required for communication with third parties and China headquarters.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or building science.
2+ years of construction experience preferred; those without experience are welcome.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Proficient in MS Office; able to prepare PowerPoint presentations.
Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee preparation, scheduling, coordination, and supervision of engineering projects.
Ensure compliance with project requirements; review drawings for accuracy and address inquiries.
Engage with clients to understand needs through site surveys and data gathering.
Participate in project meetings and implement follow-up actions.
Develop detailed work schedules, manpower allocation, and resource planning.
Review engineering deliverables and initiate corrective actions as needed.
