Job summary

JBUILD CONSULTING ENGINEERS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Resident Engineer to supervise MRT infrastructure projects, including the Cross Island Line and related developments.

You will oversee site works, monitor progress, ensure compliance with specifications and standards, and manage a team of RTOs. The ideal candidate holds a Civil/Structural Engineering degree, is registered with IES or ACES, and has at least 3 years of relevant supervision experience, preferably on MRT/rail projects.

Qualifications

• Recognised degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Accredited and registered with IES and/or ACES, with a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience supervising deep excavation and/or basement works.
• Prior MRT/rail project experience will be an added advantage.
• Monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with approved specifications, codes of practice, authority requirements, and applicable standards and regulations.
• Supervise all site works to ensure full compliance with contractual obligations.
• Perform any other project-related duties as assigned by the Senior Resident Engineer (SRE)/ Qualified Person (QP).
• Supervise and ensure strict quality control.
• Review Technical Documents.
• Keep records of site activities and prepare daily reports.
• Monitor and report progress of the works on site; manage a team of RTOs.
