Job summary

Xiaomi Technology in Singapore is seeking a backend/big data specialist to implement and maintain scalable data infrastructure. You will design automation tools and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable performance.

The role requires strong knowledge of big data systems, networking, OS concepts, and at least one backend language (Python/Go/Java). Fluency in Chinese and English is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, data structures, algorithms, and operating systems.
• Experience with at least one backend language (Python, Go, Java).

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain reliable big data infrastructure systems (e.g., HDFS, HBase, ElasticSearch, Doris, RocksDB, ClickHouse).
• Design and develop efficiency tools to automate management of large-scale big data systems.
• Identify and resolve production issues related to performance and system failures.
• Collaborate with application developers teams to troubleshoot and improve system reliability.
• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation and incident response.
