Job summary

Xiaomi Technology in Singapore seeks a reliability engineer to ensure stable, highly available global services and to manage core operational tasks across the platform. You will participate in 24/7 on-call rotations, review architectures, perform capacity planning, incident response, and drive automation to reduce manual work while keeping costs under control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or shell scripting with ability to develop modules.
• Experience with cloud computing and multi-cloud or hybrid platforms preferred.
• Strong CS fundamentals, Linux, networking, load balancing, HA/DR design.
• Team player, self-driven, highly motivated.
• Minimum 3 years in operations and maintenance of large-scale web services; hands-on experience a plus.
• Mandarin (spoken) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure stability, reliability and efficient operation of Xiaomi's global services.
• Handle resource provisioning, incident response, capacity management, monitoring.
• Review architecture design and resolve reliability risks.
• Analyze deficiencies, identify bottlenecks and drive optimization strategies.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation to resolve production incidents.
• Improve processes for stable, highly available systems and drive automation.
