Job summary

ING Singapore seeks an Assistant/Manager to operate Bank Guarantee (BG) and Standby Letter of Credit (SBLC) for the APAC region. The role coordinates with Front Office, Legal, Client Services and hub teams to ensure accurate processing of BG/SBLC transactions and compliance with global policy.

Key duties include vetting BG/SBLC texts per ICC rules, coordinating with banks to finalize terms, and handling related billing and post-processing controls.

Qualifications

• Acceptable tertiary education with relevant banking experience.
• Knowledge of ICC publications URDG, UCP & ISP is a plus.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills.
• Familiar with local regulatory/compliance policy in APAC region is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform BG/SBLC text vetting following ICC rules (URDG, UCP, ISP).
• Coordinate with country stakeholders and counterparty banks to finalize text.
• Liaise with client services and hub processing teams for end-to-end processing.
• Provide support on claims handling, liability & revenue bookings, and periodical fee billing.
