Job summary

BGC Group Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced finance professional to join the Client Incentive Operations team in Singapore. You will manage accounting and reporting for client incentive agreements across the Asia Pacific region, ensuring alignment with US GAAP and local tax requirements.

The role emphasizes process improvement, automation and cross‑functional stakeholder engagement with Finance, Sales, Legal and Compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• 8+ years of finance, accounting or financial-operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, accounting controls and financial reporting.
• Experience reviewing contracts and determining accounting treatment.
• Experience with client incentives, rebates, commissions or revenue arrangements preferred.
• Experience in payments, banking, fintech or financial services advantageous.
• Proven experience in finance process improvement, automation or system implementation.
• Strong Excel and data-analysis skills; Power BI and AI tools preferred.
• Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, accruals and management reporting.
• Proactive, detail-oriented and able to influence cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting and reporting for client incentive agreements.
• Review contracts and determine appropriate financial treatment.
• Monitor incentive performance, accruals, journal entries and reconciliations.
• Ensure US GAAP compliance, internal policies and local tax requirements.
• Analyse financial data to support business decisions.
• Identify process inefficiencies and redesign finance workflows.
• Automate routine activities such as reporting and reconciliations.
• Use Excel, Power BI and AI-enabled solutions to improve operations.
• Lead or support system and process-improvement initiatives (ORMB).
• Partner with Finance, Sales, Legal and Compliance stakeholders regionally.
• Apply Lean / Six Sigma methods to improve quality and turnaround time.
• Communicate findings and insights to senior stakeholders.
