Job summary

Multimedia Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking a Business Development Manager to identify project opportunities and build client relationships across Singapore, Malaysia, and international markets. You will drive specifications for ADAS Group, collaborating with architects, engineers, and contractors to deliver high-quality solutions in the construction sector.

You will need a degree or master in a related field and at least 5 years in business development or technical sales in construction.

Qualifications

• Degree or Master in Business, Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in business development, technical sales, or a similar role within the construction industry.
• Proven track record in achieving sales targets and securing project specifications, contracts, or new business opportunities.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret architectural drawings, technical drawings, and project specifications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Strong commercial awareness with excellent business development, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.
• Class 3 driving licence is an advantage.
• Willing to travel regularly within Singapore, Malaysia, and overseas as required.
• Excellent written, verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve sales, revenue, and growth targets.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through developers, architects, consultants, contractors, government agencies, and industry partners.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and key decision-makers.
• Promote the company's specialist solutions, including tensile membrane, ETFE systems, steel structures, and architectural works, and drive project specifications at the design stage.
• Understand client requirements and coordinate with Design, Engineering, Contracts, Procurement, and Project teams to develop suitable and competitive proposals.
• Manage enquiries and tenders from initial assessment through submission, clarification, negotiation, and contract award.
• Drive opportunities throughout the sales cycle, follow up on leads and projects, and achieve annual sales and profitability targets.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, sales pipeline, forecasts, and client information, with regular reporting to Management.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming projects to identify new business opportunities and provide market insights.
• Ensure smooth handover of secured projects to the relevant internal teams and maintain strong client relationships for repeat business.
