Job summary

PHAIDON INTERNATIONAL (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth across large-scale M&E construction projects in Singapore and the wider region.

The role focuses on identifying and securing opportunities within mission-critical and complex build environments, building relationships with developers, consultants, main contractors and end users. You will lead tender support and commercial negotiations, coordinating with project teams to deliver winning solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or related discipline.
• Proven track record in business development, sales, or client-facing roles in construction/engineering.
• Strong network among developers, consultants, contractors and project stakeholders in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies to expand market presence across key sectors.
• Identify, pursue, and secure new project opportunities within data centers, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, industrial, mixed-use, commercial office, and residential developments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, consultants, main contractors, end users, and key stakeholders.
• Monitor market trends, upcoming developments, and project pipelines to identify potential opportunities.
• Lead client engagement activities including presentations, proposal submissions, tender support, and commercial negotiations.
• Collaborate closely with project, engineering, and leadership teams to develop winning solutions for clients.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and provide regular updates on business opportunities and market intelligence.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking activities.

A leading M&E engineering and construction firm is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth across large-scale construction projects in Singapore and the wider region. Requirements

• Proven track record in business development, sales, account management, or client-facing roles within the construction, engineering, or building services industry.
• Experience developing opportunities across sectors such as data centers, semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, industrial facilities, mixed-use developments, commercial offices, or residential projects.
• Strong network among developers, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders in Singapore.
• Good understanding of construction project lifecycles, tendering processes, and project delivery models.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Self-driven, commercially minded, and capable of managing multiple opportunities simultaneously.

Preferred Experience

• Existing relationships with hyperscalers, colocation providers, semiconductor manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, industrial developers, or major real estate developers.
• Experience working with MEP contractors, EPC firms, or design-and-build contractors.
• Familiarity with large-scale mission-critical or technically complex projects.
