Job summary

Cowpresso Coffee Roasters in Singapore is seeking a Barista to prepare espresso-based drinks, filters, matcha, and other beverages while ensuring quality and friendly service.

You will dial in espresso, perform basic latte art, and maintain cleanliness. Weekend and public holiday rosters apply; training and career growth are offered in a supportive café environment.

Qualifications

• Barista experience with at least 1 year mandatory.
• Friendliness and customer-focused approach.
• Willingness to learn about coffee and roasting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks and other café beverages.

About the role

Barista at Cowpresso Coffee Roasters, a Singapore specialty coffee roastery and café. You will be preparing and serving espresso-based drinks, filter coffee, matcha and other café beverages while maintaining coffee quality and providing friendly, attentive customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks, filter coffee, matcha and other café beverages
• Dial in espresso and maintain coffee quality throughout the day
• Perform basic latte art and ensure drinks are presented consistently
• Provide friendly and attentive customer service
• Take customer orders and operate the POS/cashier system
• Explain coffee beans, drinks and menu items to customers
• Assist with simple food preparation and serving when required
• Maintain cleanliness of the coffee bar, equipment and café
• Restock ingredients, cups, milk and other café supplies
• Perform opening and closing duties

About you

• Barista or F&B experience is mandatory with 1 year of barista work minimum
• Interest in coffee and willingness to learn
• Friendly, positive and comfortable speaking with customers
• Responsible, punctual and able to work independently
• Able to work efficiently during busy periods
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Basic latte art skills are an advantage
• Able to work weekends and public holidays according to roster
