Job summary

Pullman Singapore Orchard seeks an experienced Banquet Operations professional to organize and direct daily banquet event operations. The role encompasses banquet service, training, and guest satisfaction across events, weddings, and seminars.

You will maintain hygiene standards, oversee staff, and ensure smooth coordination with maintenance and other departments in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Hospitality Management/Food & Beverage preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
• Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language.
• Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Assist in banquet event operation and administration of the department.
• Provide training to team members and casual labor on all aspects of banquet operations.
• Engage guests during operations and obtain feedback to ensure satisfaction; document follow-ups and outcomes.
• Handle guests’ complaints and comments tactfully and efficiently to reach prompt resolution.
• Maintain complete knowledge of all food & beverage services, contents & preparation methods.
• Record and maintain daily hygiene and temperature logs for all chillers on Level 2; report deviations daily.
• Inspect the banquet area for defects or safety issues and coordinate with Maintenance to rectify issues.
• Attend all briefings, meetings, and trainings as assigned by management.
