IHG Hotels & Resorts' voco Orchard Singapore on Orchard Road is hiring a Chef de Partie - Banquet Kitchen. You will oversee banquet kitchen operations, coordinate kitchen colleagues, and ensure breads and pastries meet hotel standard recipes.

You will work with fresh local products, help plan food usage, monitor portions, keep station clean, and train juniors. Strong communication and guest-service minded behavior are essential in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Formación

• Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts with Pastry/Bakery specialization.
• 2–3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Valid food hygiene certificate.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee banquet kitchen operations and coordinate kitchen staff to prepare breads and pastries according to hotel standard recipes.
• Prepare and present all items in the banquet kitchen in an attractive and appetizing manner.
• Work with locally available fresh products wherever possible.
• Plan utilization of food surpluses and leftovers according to guest numbers and menu popularity.
• Monitor methods of food preparation, portion sizes, and ensure prescribed standards are met.
• Maintain station cleanliness and order; keep equipment in good working order.
• Direct subordinates to ensure productivity meets hotel standards.
