Job summary

Mandai Resorts Pte. Ltd. seeks an experienced Assistant Manager (Banquet) to support seamless banquet operations and guest experiences at our luxury eco-resort.

You will oversee AV setup, live support, and real-time event execution to ensure every moment runs smoothly. Responsibilities include managing AV equipment, coordinating with kitchen and service teams, and mentoring staff while maintaining quality control logs and vendor coordination for successful weddings, conferences, and corporate

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electronics, Audio Engineering, IT, or related field; or 2-3 years hands‑on AV experience.
• Understanding of banquet service standards and food safety practices.
• Knowledge of video projection systems, LED displays, and presentation technologies.
• Basic understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain AV equipment for banquet events (projectors, screens, microphones, speakers, lighting, video conferencing).
• Provide on-site technical support during events, weddings, conferences and special occasions.
• Perform regular maintenance and calibration; maintain logs of usage and repairs.
• Coordinate with external vendors for servicing and replacements; test new AV technologies.
• Assist banquet service team with event flow, timing, and coordinating kitchen/service staff.
