• Assist in reporting trade activity, positions, and settlements.
• Maintain documentation of processes and transactions.
• Provide general GFMO team support; assist on corporate actions.

Role: Banking Operations Executive
6 months contract

Job Purpose:

The Operations Assistant will provide essential support to the Global Financial Markets Operations team, ensuring the smooth and efficient processing and reconciliation of various financial products. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced financial operations environment.

Product Focus:

This role will primarily involve exposure to:

1. Cash Equities (including single stock and ETFs)

2. Vanilla Options (including Barrier Options)

3. Crypto ETFs and related products such as Spot Crypto ETF and OTC Vanilla Options with Crypto ETF underlying

4. Knowledge on Corporate Action will be an advantage

Key Responsibilities:

Trade Processing and Reconciliation: Assist with the daily processing and reconciliation of transactions related to Cash Equities, Vanilla Options, Funds, and Crypto ETFs.

Data Management: Support accurate data entry, validation, and maintenance across various internal systems.

Issue Resolution: Identify and escalation discrepancies or issues to senior team members for resolution.

Reporting: Assist in generating reports related to trade activity, positions, and settlements.

Documentation: Maintain proper documentation of processes and transactions.

Support Functions: Provide general administrative and operational support to the GFMO team as required.

Corporate Action Management: Provide support to the GFM desk on Corporate Action related matters

Qualifications:

Experience candidates preferred

Entry-level candidates are welcome if proficient with VBA/ PowerAutomate

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).

Proficiency in VBA/PowerAutomate is a strong plus

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

A basic understanding of financial markets or products is a plus.

Corporate Action Knowledge preferred
