Qualifications

• 0–1 year of experience in Finance or related internship.
• Degree or diploma in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, Technology or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Support the processing and monitoring of equity and synthetic transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
• Review trade details and understand the economics and lifecycle of transactions to ensure accurate booking in internal systems.
• Monitor operational workflows and assist in resolving trade exceptions and discrepancies promptly.
• Collaborate with Sales, Trading, Compliance, Middle Office, Settlements and other internal teams to support day-to-day operations.
• Assist with reporting and presentations covering operational and compliance metrics.
• Identify recurring issues and workflow gaps, supporting improvements to accuracy, efficiency and risk controls.
• Contribute to process improvements and small-scale workflow enhancements, leveraging technology where appropriate.

About the Role

Join a dynamic Global Markets / Equities Operations team supporting institutional clients across corporations, financial institutions and fund managers.

You will work closely with Sales, Trading, Compliance, Middle Office, Settlements and other Operations teams to ensure financial transactions are processed accurately, efficiently and in line with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the processing and monitoring of equity and synthetic transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.


• Review trade details and understand the economics and lifecycle of transactions to ensure accurate booking in internal systems.


• Monitor operational workflows and assist in resolving trade exceptions and discrepancies in a timely manner.


• Work closely with Sales, Trading, Compliance, Middle Office, Settlements and other internal stakeholders to support day-to-day operations.


• Assist with reporting and presentations covering operational and compliance metrics.


• Identify recurring issues, non-compliant themes and workflow gaps, and support initiatives to improve accuracy, efficiency and risk controls.


• Contribute to process improvements and small-scale workflow enhancements, leveraging technology where appropriate.


• Ensure operational activities are completed within required timelines and in accordance with market standards, internal procedures and regulatory requirements.


• Support the team in maintaining strong operational and reputational risk controls.


• Provide responsive and professional support to internal and external stakeholders where required.

Requirements

• 0–1 year of experience in Finance, including relevant internship experience.


• Degree or diploma in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, Technology or a related discipline.


• Tech-savvy with an interest in systems, data and process improvement.


• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.


• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams.


• Strong willingness to learn about financial markets, equities and trading operations.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other productivity tools is advantageous.
