Job summary

D L RESOURCES PTE LTD is seeking an experienced network engineer to join a major banking and financial services client in Singapore. The role sits within the technology department and focuses on installing and maintaining network equipment across enterprise, extranet and eCommerce segments.

You will configure Cisco routers/switches, firewalls (Palo Alto, Check Point, Fortinet) and F5 appliances, and collaborate with the team on day-to-day network operations, WAN, IDS/IPS and cloud networking

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 4 years’ relevant experience preferably in a Finance Institution.
• Strong technical analytical and engineering competencies with hands-on experience in routers, switches and firewalls.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco products including Wireless, DNAC and APIC/ACI, and Fortinet/Checkpoint/Palo Alto.
• Familiar with WAN routing protocols, QoS/CoS and with Telco operations and cloud networking.
• Scripting and network automation experience is a plus and familiarity with IT ticketing tools like Remedy ISM.

Responsibilities

• Network equipment installation in Enterprise, Extranet and eCommerce networks.
• Assist the team in day-to-day operations in network-related fields.
• Site assessment, coordination and supervision of installations at financial institutions.
• Cisco network equipment configuration and troubleshooting.
• F5, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Check Point firewall configuration and troubleshooting.
