Job summary

Private Advertiser in Marina Bay, Singapore, seeks an IT Officer for a 1-year direct contract. The role provides end-user IT support for hardware, software, and network issues within a banking environment, ensuring secure and reliable IT systems.

You will troubleshoot inquiries via phone, email and onsite, monitor infrastructure, support printers, and assist in system enhancements and project rollouts while adhering to security policies.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, system administration or related functions.
• Good understanding of hardware, software applications, networking, infrastructure monitoring and system maintenance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Experience in system testing, IT security, backup and disaster recovery is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a banking environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user IT support for hardware, software and network-related issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve helpdesk inquiries via phone, email and onsite support.
• Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Support printer management and reporting requirements.
• Assist in system enhancement, testing, implementation and maintenance activities.
• Monitor IT systems and prepare operational reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies and best practices.
• Support IT projects including system upgrades, migrations, BCP/DR exercises and rollouts.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and IT teams on business and technical requirements.
