ANTAS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Software Engineer to build, maintain and support enterprise applications in the banking and financial services sector. You will work on backend Java development, SQL/PLSQL queries, and Unix/Linux shell scripting in a data‑driven environment.

The role emphasizes batch processing, application support, debugging and deployment verification, with collaboration across developers, DBAs and analysts to implement system improvements.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related discipline.
• 5 years of relevant software development, maintenance or support experience.
• Hands-on Java programming with Core Java and Java Collections.
• Proficient in SQL/PLSQL, joins, subqueries, and stored procedures.
• Experience with Oracle or Sybase databases and Unix/Linux basics.
• Knowledge of batch processing, file handling and data validation.
• Familiarity with SDLC, Git, and basic CI/CD concepts.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and written/oral communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, test and maintain Java applications in backend domains.
• Write and optimize SQL queries, PL/SQL procedures and packages.
• Support Oracle or Sybase databases and perform data validation.
• Create and maintain Unix/Linux Shell scripts for batch jobs.
• Monitor and execute batch jobs, file transfers and workflows.
• Debug, log analyze and perform basic root cause analysis.
• Conduct unit/integration testing and deployment verification.
• Assist with production support, incidents, releases and changes.
• Maintain documentation, tests and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with analysts, DBAs and support teams to implement enhancements.
