Job summary

antas pte. ltd. seeks a Senior Software Engineer with 15+ years of Java enterprise experience to design, build, and modernize scalable banking applications. You will work with Spring Boot, AWS, microservices, and secure REST APIs across BFSI domains.

Responsibilities include migrating to microservices, implementing event-driven architectures with Kafka, and managing CI/CD pipelines with GitLab/Jenkins. Strong collaboration with architects and analysts is essential for production-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of Java software development in enterprise applications.
• Strong expertise in Java 17/21, Spring Boot, Spring Security, and Microservices.
• Extensive AWS Cloud Services experience including EKS, ECS, Lambda, API Gateway.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, Event-Driven Architecture, Kafka, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD automation.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, SQL, and database integration.
• Experience in BFSI application development and secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java 17/21, Spring Boot, and Spring Security.
• Migrate and design microservices architectures with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Build and deploy cloud-native apps on AWS (EKS, ECS, Lambda, API Gateway).
• Implement event-driven systems using Kafka, MSK, SQS, SNS, EventBridge.
• Develop secure REST APIs for banking and financial apps.
• Handle data storage with Aurora PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, S3, Redis.
• Automate infrastructure with Terraform and CI/CD with GitLab/Jenkins.
• Contribute to Core Banking, Payments, KYC/AML, Wealth, and Insurance domains.
• Optimize performance, conduct tests, and resolve defects.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, and cross-functional teams.
• Participate in modernization, design reviews, and production support.
