Job summary

ANTAS PTE. LTD. is seeking a seasoned Java backend developer to design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise web applications and microservices. You will build RESTful APIs and SOAP services, implementing components with Spring and Spring Boot, and collaborate across the SDLC to deliver secure, scalable software.

You will participate in code reviews, testing, and performance optimization while maintaining thorough documentation and deployment procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Java, Core Java, OOP, Collections Framework, and exception handling.
• Experience developing microservices, RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and backend application components.
• Practical knowledge of Spring Framework, Spring Boot, API integration, and JSON/XML data formats.
• Understanding of secure coding practices, application scalability, performance optimization, and error handling.
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and version control tools such as Git.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, SDLC processes, code reviews, and software deployment practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise web applications using Java, OOP, and frameworks.
• Develop RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and microservices for integration and backend logic.
• Implement components using Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot for robust code.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and architects across the SDLC to align solutions.
• Participate in pair programming, peer code reviews, and unit testing for quality.
• Perform debugging, defect resolution, integration testing, and performance optimization.
• Deploy releases to development, testing, and production, with post-deployment support.
• Apply secure coding practices and scalable design to enhance security and performance.
• Maintain documentation, source code, and deployment procedures for compliance.
