Job summary

Akkodis is leading the way in digital payments and backend platforms. We seek a senior backend engineer to build scalable RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud-native solutions that securely integrate with mobile SDKs and enterprise systems.

You will work on secure, enterprise-grade payment platforms, participate in architecture discussions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Knowledge of secure API development and authentication protocols.
• Experience working with cloud-based backend infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of object‑oriented programming and scalable software architecture.
• Experience with unit testing and automated testing frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices supporting mobile payment applications.
• Develop cloud-based backend solutions that integrate with mobile SDKs and enterprise platforms.
• Ensure secure integration with authentication services, payment gateways, and cloud infrastructure.
• Develop management platforms and dashboards for system monitoring and administration.
• Collaborate with mobile SDK teams to deliver robust backend integrations.
• Design secure API architectures aligned with digital identity and payment security standards.
• Apply object-oriented design principles and modern backend engineering practices.
• Contribute to platform enhancements and technical architecture discussions.
• Participate in R&D initiatives to improve scalability, security and performance.
