Job summary

Activate is seeking a Backend-Focused Full-Stack Engineer to design and develop core backend services for a cloud-based digital platform. The role will focus on APIs, database, business logic and workflows, audit logging, reporting data and integration readiness.

This role works with the Technical Lead, Frontend Engineer, QA Automation Engineer and Infrastructure Team to deliver secure and reliable backend services that support the digital platform.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Backend experience with Node.js, TypeScript, Express.js or NestJS.
• Strong PostgreSQL/SQL skills and REST API design.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop core backend services for a cloud-based platform.
• Collaborate with LT, frontend, QA and infra teams to ensure secure, reliable services.
• Implement APIs, database schemas, workflows and logging.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
