Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd is seeking a backend developer to design, build, and maintain server-side logic, databases, and APIs powering the COMPASS platform. You will work on scalable microservices, data processing, and secure integrations with multiple systems in a fast-growing tech consultancy.

The role requires strong skills in Python/Node.js/Java, RESTful APIs, cloud deployment on AWS, and experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Experience in backend software development for enterprise-grade applications.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases and data integrity management.
• Experience deploying cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain server-side logic, databases, and APIs powering COMPASS platform.
• Develop scalable backend services, APIs and integration components.
• Implement scalable microservices and distributed systems.
• Integrate with upstream/downstream systems and data sources.
• Ensure security, testing, and production operations; write clean, documented code.
