Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd is seeking a skilled Software Engineer (Full Stack) for a 1-year fixed-term contract in Singapore. You will translate architecture into implementable frontend, backend, and deployment designs and lead a small team through delivery of cloud-based digital platforms.

You'll build with React.js, TypeScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL, design secure REST APIs, and work with AWS services. A strong security mindset and CI/CD discipline are essential for success.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of software engineering experience with team leadership.
• Frontend: React.js, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, responsive design.
• Backend: Node.js, TypeScript, Express.js or NestJS.
• Database: PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, OpenSearch; SQL optimisation.
• API design and secure REST APIs.
• Authentication: OAuth2, OIDC, SSO, MFA, RBAC.
• AWS: API Gateway, Lambda, RDS/Aurora, S3, CloudWatch, Secrets Manager.
• DevOps: CI/CD pipelines, Docker, environment config and release.
• Security: OWASP, secure coding, vulnerability remediation.

Responsibilities

• Translate target architecture into frontend, backend, API, and deployment designs.
• Lead a small engineering team through design, development and delivery.
• Develop components with React.js, TypeScript, Node.js and PostgreSQL.
• Design secure REST APIs and integration patterns.
• Oversee relational data modelling, schema design and migrations.
• Deploy applications to AWS and manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Embed security practices into sprint processes and remediate findings.
