Activate Interactive Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Software Engineer for a 1-year contract to build modern web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript, with strong React.js and API design skills. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable features, while driving DevOps practices and collaborating across disciplines.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience building modern web applications.
• Strong proficiency in React.js and modern front-end development practices.
• Extensive experience designing and maintaining RESTful/GraphQL APIs using Node.js, ReactJS.
• Working knowledge of relational databases (schema design, optimization, and querying).
• Hands-on experience with automated testing using JavaScript frameworks such as Mocha, Chai, and Sinon.

Responsibilities

• Architect and ship production-grade features — Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-quality code for our live production systems.
• Drive innovation — Build rapid prototypes and proof-of-concepts to evaluate emerging technologies and identify new product opportunities.
