RWE Supply & Trading Asia-Pacific Pte. Ltd. is seeking an IT professional in Singapore to join the APAC IT team as an embedded member of the Global Back Office IT group. You will support and enhance back-office applications, focusing on trade processing, settlement, and post-trade activities.

You will design and deploy improvements, automate workflows, and collaborate with global teams to maintain security, architecture, and reliability. Strong programming in C#, Python, and SQL is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Significant experience in software engineering, application development and production support for business-critical enterprise applications.
• Strong programming and scripting skills in C#, Python, SQL or comparable technologies.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex application and integration issues with relational databases and data processing.

Aufgaben

• Support and enhance Back Office applications and integrations, investigating incidents, resolving technical issues and addressing their root causes.
• Design, develop, test and deploy application improvements, collaborating with global colleagues on maintenance, releases, upgrades and production support.
• Strengthen application reliability through monitoring, operational controls, documentation and improved support processes.
• Translate business challenges into maintainable applications, scripts, APIs and workflow integrations that reduce manual effort and improve data quality.
• Automate reconciliations, reporting, data validation and document processing, applying AI-enabled capabilities where appropriate.
• Act as a regional IT contact for APAC Support Functions, coordinating requests, incidents and priorities with the relevant Global IT owners.
• Reuse global solutions wherever possible and ensure regional developments meet architecture, security and engineering standards.
• Apply sound development practices, including code reviews, automated testing and CI/CD, while sharing knowledge across regional and global teams.
