Job summary

Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) is seeking an AVP/VP for Enterprise Data Governance and Analytics Tooling in Singapore to lead analytics delivery across APAC. You will partner with business and technology teams to deliver dashboards, data products, and governance-enabled solutions that drive informed decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in data analytics, information systems, CS, engineering, finance, math or statistics.
• 3–6 years in analytics, BI, data management or related fields.
• Experience delivering dashboards/reports in banking or regulated industries.
• Strong business analysis and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience with cross-functional business and tech teams.
• Understanding of data governance and data management principles.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and analytics opportunities.
• Design and deliver dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions.
• Translate business needs into data products and reporting requirements.
• Develop analytics use cases and business insights.
• Promote data-driven decision making through reporting and visuals.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and KPI scorecards.
• Support analytics lifecycle: requirements, testing, deployment, adoption.
• Create reusable analytics assets and governed data products.
• Monitor dashboard usage and gather enhancement feedback.
• Ensure outputs follow governance standards.
