Qualifications

• 12-15+ years of progressive leadership in Data Governance and related disciplines within banking or financial services.
• Deep expertise in BCBS 239 and regulatory requirements, with a proven track record of transformation programmes.
• Extensive knowledge of Data Governance frameworks, operating models, Data Risk, Data Management and AI Governance.
• Proven success leading large, multidisciplinary teams and complex organizational change programmes.
• Strong strategic thinking, business analysis, and problem-solving capabilities for governance models.
• Exceptional executive presence and ability to engage with regulators, auditors, and governance committees.
• Experience translating regulatory and business priorities into sustainable governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Define and champion the enterprise-wide AI Governance vision, strategy, and operating model.
• Provide executive oversight of AI risk management, model governance, and lifecycle controls.
• Partner with senior leaders to establish governance structures for AI initiatives and ensure risk management alignment.
• Chair or sponsor AI Governance forums and drive strategic direction on AI governance matters.
• Drive enterprise-wide awareness and adoption of responsible AI practices across business and technology functions.
• Establish governance reporting and performance frameworks to monitor maturity, compliance, risk, and value realization.
