Business Function

Group Marketing & Communications is responsible for building, protecting, and enhancing the DBS brand in an increasingly commoditised banking industry. Working closely with all units within the DBS Group, we create and execute integrated strategies that focus on communications especially digital communications, marketing, and research to differentiate - and elevate - our brand from the rest of the competition.

As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you’ll work on high-budget performance marketing campaigns across multiple corporate businesses and products. You will also experiment with various growth strategies with a drive for results. Brainstorming sessions and monthly discussions with field experts are a bonus, with loads of learning opportunities!

Key Objectives
  • Develop and implement digital marketing strategies aligning with the company’s goals.
  • Conduct market research, understand the target audience, and identify marketing and growth opportunities.
  • Create and execute campaigns across various digital channels, like email, social media, paid advertising, Search Engine Optimisation and Generative Engine Optimisation.
  • Measure and analyse campaigns’ success using data and analytics tools.
  • Lead meetings with stakeholders and agency partners to discuss campaign details with key performance metrics (KPIs).
Responsibilities
  • Understand how ad creative elements perform for each unique advertising goal (traffic, conversions, and engagement).
  • Track and analyse primary metrics, revenue and paid ad initiatives weekly and monthly.
  • Experiment and implement innovative digital marketing strategies, tools and best practices to improve Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) consistently.
  • Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends and new technologies and make recommendations for how DBS can stay ahead of the curve.
  • Work with paid media owners for reporting and best reporting outcomes (META, Google, LinkedIn, TikTok etc)
Requirements
  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business, New Media or Public Relations.
  • 5+ years of demonstrable experience in marketing or digital marketing roles.
  • Adept in analytics, data ingestion and building dashboards on Qlikview and Tableau Knowledge of content management tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills to understand data, study metrics, and align strategies.
  • Innovative thinker with a keen eye for detail and identifying trends.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Relevant certificates like Google Analytics Certification, Google Ads Certification, and/or HubSpot’s Inbound Certification Course.
  • Familiarity with marketing analytics tools like Google Analytics and SEMRush.
  • Bonus to be familiar with Liferay and Opentext content publishing platforms.
