Job summary

Pacific Life Re is seeking an AVP, Pricing, Protection, Asia, to lead pricing for Korea and Japan, reporting to the Head of Pricing for Asia. Based in Korea or Singapore, with regional travel.

The role combines leadership of a pricing team, development of pricing papers, collaboration with underwriting and marketing, and client interactions. 15+ years actuarial experience and strong knowledge of reinsurance pricing are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years actuarial experience.
• Reinsurance pricing experience in Korea and/or Japan advantageous.
• Qualified Actuary with strong leadership and market knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pricing terms and product development solutions to clients with high technical standards.
• Support treaty wins with timely implementation for valuation purposes.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and promote the Pacific Life Re brand.
