A leading AV solutions provider in Singapore is seeking an AV Technical Documentation & Knowledge Base Specialist to create and maintain our technical knowledge base for AV solutions. You will produce high-quality documentation and diagrams, transforming complex AV concepts into user-friendly guides. The ideal candidate has over 3 years in technical writing and strong knowledge of AV systems. This role offers opportunities to collaborate with engineers and project managers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in technical writing, documentation, or AV engineering roles.
• Strong knowledge of AV systems including DSPs and control systems.
• Excellent English communication skills required.

Responsibilities

PositionOverview:

YouwilltransformcomplexAVconceptsintoeasy-to-understandguides,systemdiagrams,andtroubleshootingresourcesforinternalandexternalaudiences.

KeyResponsibilities:

• Developdetailed,user-friendlyknowledgebasearticlesonAVconcepts,products,andintegrations,includingbothbasicandadvancedtopics(e.g.,“WhatisaDSP?”and“AVoverIPbasics”).
• ProduceconfigurationandsetupguidesforkeyAVbrandssuchasCrestron,Biamp,Q-SYS,andShure.
• Createtechnicaldiagrams,includingsingle-linediagrams,signalflowcharts,andracklayouts,whilemaintainingstandardizedtemplates.
• Establishandmaintainstyleguides;organizeknowledgebasecontentbycategorieslikeconcepts,productguides,troubleshooting,andbestpractices.
• Collaboratewithengineers,projectmanagers,andpre-salesstafftocapturetechnicaldetails;conductinterviewsandsitevisitsasneeded.
• ManageandupdatearticlesinplatformssuchasConfluence,SharePoint,orZendesktokeepdocumentationcurrent.

SkillsandQualifications:

Required:

• 3+yearsintechnicalwriting,documentation,orAVengineeringroles.
• StrongknowledgeofAVsystems(DSPs,controlsystems,AVoverIP).
• ProficiencyindiagrammingtoolssuchasMicrosoftVisio,AutoCAD,orLucidchart.
• ExcellentEnglishcommunicationskillsandstrongorganizationalability.

Preferred:

• ExperiencewithCrestron,Biamp,Q-SYS,Extron,AMX,orsimilarsystems.
• Familiaritywithknowledgebaseplatforms(Confluence,SharePoint,ZendeskGuide).
• BackgroundinAVintegration,support,orpre-sales.
