Job summary

Tyson Jay Management in Singapore is seeking a hands-on technician to install automation hardware, sensors, controllers and safety equipment on industrial mobile equipment. You will complete electrical wiring, mechanical assembly and system integration to commission AGV and AMR systems.

You will diagnose faults, conduct inspections, respond to breakdowns and maintain records, while following safety procedures to ensure reliable operation.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Ability to understand technical drawings, manuals and installation instructions.
• Practical electrical and mechanical knowledge with sound troubleshooting skills.
• Preferred: experience with AGVs, AMRs, material-handling equipment or very-narrow-aisle machinery.

Responsibilities

• Install automation hardware, sensors, controllers and safety equipment on industrial mobile equipment.
• Complete electrical wiring, mechanical assembly and system integration work.
• Test, calibrate and commission AGV and AMR systems.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical and control-system faults.
• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to support equipment reliability.
• Respond to breakdowns and restore equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow applicable safety procedures during installation, testing and servicing.
• Maintain accurate records of installation, testing, repair and maintenance activities.
