Job summary

Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Center Singapore (HMGICS) is seeking a skilled Industrial Automation and Data Analytics Engineer to optimize production equipment and drive continuous improvement. The role combines hands-on PLC programming, SEQ logic development, and SQL database management to support performance monitoring and data-driven decision making.

You will collaborate with Production, Process, and Quality teams to improve OEE, reduce downtime, and implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies;

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics/Automation or Computer Engineering.
• Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with SQL databases and data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize production equipment and automation systems to maximize uptime.
• Develop, modify, and debug PLC programs and SEQ logic for manufacturing needs.
• Monitor equipment performance, analyze data, and drive improvements (OEE).
• Support installation, commissioning, and validation activities.
• Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance process efficiency.
• Maintain documentation and data integrity across databases and dashboards.
