Job summary

LINKWISE TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. is seeking a Project Engineer/Manager to provide strategic direction and lead project teams through all phases. You will develop execution plans, manage timelines and budgets, and coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.

The role requires strong SCADA/PLC/HMI knowledge, proficiency in Modbus and SNMP, plus solid networking and database skills. Electrical/wiring expertise is essential for on-site project delivery in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in CS, Electrical/Electronic or Automation.
• Strong knowledge of SCADA, PLC and HMI systems.
• Proficient in Modbus RTU/TCP and SNMP protocols.
• Solid networking and database basics (SQL).
• Electrical circuit and wiring knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction to project teams across all phases.

• Act as primary client contact and maintain stakeholder relationships.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide strategic direction and leadership to project teams throughout all project phases, defining scope, goals, and deliverables aligned with organizational objectives and client expectations.
2. Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive project execution plans to ensure successful project delivery.
3. Oversee detailed project planning, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and milestones; supervise and coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
4. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and key stakeholders, managing expectations and fostering long-term professional relationships.
5. Represent the company in meetings with clients, contractors, and partners to ensure alignment and effective communication.
6. Lead, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team comprising engineers, programmers, and subcontractors; allocate resources efficiently and promote a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
7. Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring adherence to quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) processes.
8. Monitor project key performance indicators (KPIs) and conduct post-project evaluations to drive ongoing process improvements.
9. Review and approve system architecture, network design, and technical submissions for various systems including Building/Energy Management Systems (BMS, EMS), Alarm and Event Notification Systems (fire, security, environmental), SCADA/PLC-based industrial automation systems, and IoT/modem-based remote monitoring communications.
10. Stay informed about emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions for integration to enhance project outcomes and maintain technical leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor in Computer Science, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), or Automation.
• Strong Knowledge of SCADA system, PLC, HMI
• Strong Knowledge in communication protocol such as Modbus RTU/Modbus TCP, SNMP, etc.
• Strong Knowledge of networking and database (SQL,PostGreSQl,MySQL).
• Strong knowledge of electrical circuit and wiring.
• Preferably 4-5 years of relevant experience.
