Job summary

EA RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking an engineer to design, configure and support SCADA systems, including HMI and alarms, and to integrate SCADA with PLCs/RTUs and other devices.

The role covers database configuration with MS SQL/MySQL/PostgreSQL, testing, FAT/SAT, and customer training. The position requires a diploma/degree in computer/electrical/automation or related fields, plus knowledge of SCADA, databases and programming basics.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in engineering or related discipline.
• Experience or knowledge in SCADA and relational databases (RDBMS).
• Familiarity with MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL or other SQL databases.
• Knowledge of SCADA integration with PLCs/industrial devices.
• Experience in system integration, testing, commissioning or troubleshooting advantageous.
• Knowledge of C, C# or C++ programming/scripting advantageous.
• Candidates with SCADA, automation or control systems experience are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure and support SCADA systems including HMI, alarms, trends and reports.

• Perform system integration, testing and troubleshooting.

Job description

• Working hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, configure and support SCADA systems including HMI graphics, alarms, trends and reports

• Integrate SCADA systems withPLCs, RTUs and third-party devices

• Configure and work with relational databases such as MS SQL, MySQL or PostgreSQL

• Perform system integration, application configuration, testing and troubleshooting

• Prepare and execute Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)

• Investigate system faults, perform root cause analysis and carry out fault rectification

• Support system testing, commissioning and technical activities at project sites

• Provide technical support, user training and knowledge transfer to customers

• Coordinate closely with project managers, engineers, customers, vendors and other stakeholders

• Prepare technical reports, manuals and relevant project documentation

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree inComputer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics or related discipline

• Experience or knowledge in SCADA systems and relational databases (RDBMS)

• Familiarity withMS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL or other SQL databases

• Knowledge or experience inSCADA integration with PLCs, RTUs or industrial deviceswill be advantageous

• Experience in system integration, testing, commissioning or troubleshooting will be an added advantage

• Knowledge of C, C# or C++ programming/scripting will be advantageous

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills
