Job summary

EA RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking an Automation Engineer in Singapore to design, build and maintain application code, configurations and logic for SCADA and industrial automation projects.

You will provide technical support for SCADA, PLC and integrated systems, review specs, perform FAT and testing, and coordinate with customers and suppliers through the project lifecycle. Training is provided for strong-interest candidates in automation or software development.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Science/Mechatronics/Automation or related discipline.
• Experience or interest in PLC/SCADA/HMI programming, industrial automation or software development welcomed.
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, BACnet, Ethernet/IP, Profinet) is a plus.
• Basic coding/scripting knowledge (C, Python) is a plus but not required.
• Able to read electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Training provided for candidates with strong interest in automation or software engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain application code, configurations and logic for SCADA and industrial automation projects.

• Coordinate with internal teams, customers, contractors and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.
• On-site troubleshooting, commissioning and production support at customer sites.
• Prepare technical reports, manuals and project documentation.
• Evaluate new technologies and recommend engineering solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, build and maintain application code, system configurations and logic for SCADA and industrial automation projects

• Provide technical support and application solutions for SCADA, PLC, and integrated system projects

• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable automation and control system solutions

• Review project specifications, drawings, tender documents and prepare technical proposals and quotations

• Perform Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and system testing in accordance with project/vendor requirements

• Support system design, configuration, engineering development and server maintenance

• Coordinate with internal teams, customers, contractors and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle

• Perform on-site troubleshooting, commissioning and production support at customer sites

• Prepare technical reports, manuals and project documentation

• Evaluate new technologies and recommend suitable engineering solutions
  

Requirements:
