Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in automation, electrical, process engineering or mechatronics.
• Postgraduate studies in technical business or business administration are an advantage.
• 3–7 years in technical sales, business development, or engineering.
• Experience in factory automation, pneumatics, or industrial equipment preferred.
• Strong understanding of customer needs in electronics and light assembly.
• Familiar with automation components and solutions.
• Knowledge of project management is an advantage.
• Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office.
• Able to identify customer challenges and propose automation solutions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Structured, organized, and self-managed; team-oriented and adaptable.
• Proactive learner with a problem-solving mindset.
• Resilient and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Develop business opportunities and grow market share in the Electronics and Light Assembly segments.
• Identify, pursue, and convert new customers, projects, and applications.
• Hunt for new opportunities by influencing OEMs, system integrators, and end users to specify solutions.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships with key decision-makers.
• Develop and execute account plans to achieve sales growth and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal departments and regional sales to deliver solutions.
• Prepare and follow up on quotations, proposals, and contract negotiations.
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and provide technical advice.
• Track and report sales pipeline, opportunities, and activities through CRM.
• Achieve assigned sales targets, KPIs, and BD objectives.
• Provide input on market trends and propose improvements to processes.
• Contribute to digitalization and hybrid sales models for growth.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the ELA Sales Manager.
