Job summary

R Systems in Singapore seeks a skilled IT operations professional specializing in automation, observability, and monitoring. The role involves configuring dashboards, alerts, and log analysis to support proactive IT operations and incident response.

The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years of hands-on experience, strong scripting skills, and familiarity with industry monitoring tools. A solid foundation in Linux/Windows infrastructure and DevOps concepts is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
• Typically 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in automation, enterprise monitoring, observability, IT operations, or a related technical role.
• Demonstrable hands-on experience in scripting, monitoring configuration, dashboard or alert development, and operational support.
• Working knowledge of IT infrastructure, including Linux and Windows operating systems, networks, storage, and virtualisation.
• Practical scripting experience in at least one language such as Python, PowerShell, or Shell scripting.
• Hands-on exposure to one or more monitoring or observability tools such as BMC Helix, ITSM Helix Remedy, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Dynatrace, or Splunk.
• Experience with dashboards, alert rules, event analysis, log analysis, integrations, and operational troubleshooting.
• Understanding of cloud concepts, DevOps practices, CI/CD, APIs, version control, or AIOps concepts is advantageous.
