Job summary

The SKILT Centre - the SpecialKids Intervention, Learning and Therapy Centre in Singapore is seeking dedicated Special Needs Therapists for full-time, permanent roles working with children from age 2 upwards.

You will assess behavioural, social and emotional needs, formulate intervention plans, update parents after sessions, collaborate with parents, teachers and therapists, provide in-class support, and maintain case notes and records; Saturdays required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Psychology/Special Education/Early Childhood (Special Needs).
• Other relevant certification and related qualifications.
• Able to work on Saturdays.
• Minimum one year CBT experience with special needs children.

Responsibilities

• Assess children of different ages on behavioural, social and emotional needs.
• Formulate an intervention plan for the child based on assessment findings.
• Update parents on progress after each session and share strategies.
• Collaborate with parents, preschool teachers, intervention teachers and therapists.
• Provide support for in-class behavioural management, psychotherapy or school shadowing.
• Carry out administrative work and record case notes after sessions.
• Attend inter-department training, case discussions and meetings.
• Engage vibrant, dynamic candidates dedicated to teaching children with special needs.
