Pathlight School, Singapore’s first autism-focused school offering the national curriculum with life skills, invites applications for an Autism Therapist. You will develop and deliver individualised behavioural plans and run Life Skills programmes for ASD students, in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team.

You will need strong communication, analytical and organisational skills, and the ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment while supporting diverse viewpoints and needs.

Qualifikationen

• Min. Degree in Psychology or related fields.
• Passion to help special needs students maximise their talents and potential.

Aufgaben

• Develop and deliver individualised behavioural plans in collaboration with key stakeholders
• Plan and deliver programmes for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in the area of Life Skills (e.g. self-regulation, work habits, social and thinking skills)
• Manage and respond to an emergency support line for school staff requiring immediate support for behavioural support
• Plan and train stakeholders on ASD related topics
• Participate in team assessments for school admissions

Pathlight School is the first autism-focused school in Singaporeto offer the national curriculum together with life skills. It caters to students on the autism spectrum with related conditions, aged 7 to 18 years, who are cognitively able to access national curriculum but require additional support such as smaller class sizes, special accommodations and teaching staff trained in autism.

The team at Autism Intervention, Training & Consultancy (AITC) provides training and consultancy services for professionals and caregivers, as well as direct intervention services for individuals on the autism spectrum.

As an Autism Therapist, your Impact and Contribution includes:

• Develop and deliver individualised behavioural plans in collaboration with key stakeholders
• Plan and deliver programmes for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in the area of Life Skills (e.g. self-regulation, work habits, social and thinking skills)
