Job summary

Pathlight School in Singapore is seeking a Speech & Language Therapist to support students on the autism spectrum with language, literacy and social communication needs, through assessment, direct intervention and collaboration with teachers.

Senior SLTs will provide supervision to junior therapists, drive program development, and deliver training to educators and parents while maintaining compliant AHPC registration and a student-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Full AHPC registration is required to practise as a Speech & Language Therapist.
• Willingness to learn about autism and contribute to the autism community.
• Able to work independently and also collaborate with a team in a dynamic setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess and report on language, literacy and communication for learners with autism.
• Conduct school-based assessments for curriculum and lesson planning.
• Plan and deliver 1:1 and small group language/speech interventions.
• Refer to external services when needed and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Participate in curriculum/program development and staff training.
• Senior SLTs: supervise junior therapists and report on service goals.
• Deliver training to educators and parents on language and social communication.
