Job summary

The SKILT Centre in Singapore is seeking a qualified Speech & Language Pathologist to assess clients, identify therapy needs, and develop effective intervention plans for children with speech and language disorders.

You will implement one-to-one and group therapy, document progress with case notes, collaborate with teachers and families, and provide comprehensive reports. AHPC registration and Saturday work are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Speech & Language Pathology/Speech Therapy recognised by AHPC (Singapore)
• Minimum 3 years' SLP experience or in a special education setting is an advantage
• Knowledge and experience with children with special needs across disabilities
• Ability to work independently and as a team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• High standard of report writing
• Able to commit to work on Saturdays

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess individual therapy needs using appropriate assessment tools and forms
• Develop tools for identification, assessment, intervention
• Create and implement individual/group therapy programmes for speech and language disorders
• Provide one-to-one, group or classroom-based intervention as needed
• Evaluate and document therapy progress and review intervention effectiveness
• Provide status updates to staff and caregivers
• Collaborate with teachers, non-teaching staff, and families to enhance services
• Prepare written reports and case notes with recommendations
